Founded in 1987, United Security Bank is a state-chartered independent community bank headquartered in Fresno, California, and is the wholly-owned subsidiary of United Security Bancshares (NASDAQ: UBFO). The Bank operates eleven branches, four loan centers, and one financial services office in Fresno, Madera, Kern, and Santa Clara Counties, and employs more than 160 people. Today, with more than $770 million in assets, $558 million in deposits and $575 million in loans, United Security Bank continues to seek growth in its market area while enhancing the financial services offered to its customers.
United Security Bank was established by local business people for the purpose of providing a full range of competitively priced banking services to businesses, professionals and individuals within the Central San Joaquin Valley. Over the twenty years since its inception, United Security Bank has expanded its market area to include Fresno, Madera, Kern, and Santa Clara Counties. The Bank’s eleven-branch network includes three in Fresno, and one each in Oakhurst, Caruthers, San Joaquin, Firebaugh, Coalinga, Taft, Bakersfield, and Campbell. Today, United Security Bank is the largest independent bank headquartered in the Central San Joaquin Valley.
The Bank offers an array of loan and deposit products designed for individuals and small to medium sized businesses. In addition to commercial, real estate, and consumer loans tailored to fit the needs of borrowers, and checking, savings, and time deposit accounts for individuals and businesses, the Bank also provides a wide assortment of complimentary services for its customers.
